It is incredible how good it is for him, as I've seen how his relationship with the dogs there has grown steadily during the last year.booksandmorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08532708449690859492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137377288502991376.post-78617016139079910362017-04-24T14:13:05.610-04:002017-04-24T14:13:05.610-04:00This is incredibly generous of you! While my sister did love working with her kids I could tell that their good or bad days also could be quite stressful for her. We have this neighbor who is mentally challenged & she's always laugh at by kids that's why I keep on reminding my young niece & nephew to not do what the other kids do to the poor woman. We should always be the ones who have the wider understanding since they can't do it themselves anymore or yet. ^_^Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00352021702968609181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137377288502991376.post-30250838840259657162017-04-22T17:13:07.120-04:002017-04-22T17:13:07.120-04:00I don't know anyone with Autism I have seen TV...I don't know anyone with Autism I have seen TV programmes about Autism and to me they are the most amazing and unique people. I was so surprised when I saw the USA facts about Autism and how many people had Autism so I looked up the UK figures.

Autism affects more than 1 in 100 people – fact. Over. 700,000 people in UK are autistic, which means that 2.8m people have a relative on the autism spectrum. People tend to 'grow out' of autism in adulthood – myth. It's a lifelong condition – autistic children become autistic adults.
ShirleyAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12552368259225199393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137377288502991376.post-40672504966956439792017-04-22T14:28:58.163-04:002017-04-22T14:28:58.163-04:00As a kid I babysat a neighbor boy who is autistic ...As a kid I babysat a neighbor boy who is autistic he was the most adorable and kind child I have ever come across.Missyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12179253616169195087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137377288502991376.post-64344495938462738862017-04-22T13:24:57.669-04:002017-04-22T13:24:57.669-04:00Thanks for the post. What a lovely and generous way to celebrate your birthday month.

My son's elementary school has a program called Bobcat Buddies (bobcat is their school mascot). In this program he gets to spend time helping and playing with kids who are in the special needs class. My son really loves it. It enriches his life and he comes home with stories about the kids and the things they do together. This is one small thing a school can do to promote awareness and understanding.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01153739860343193475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-137377288502991376.post-48154888691904467952017-04-22T11:31:02.129-04:002017-04-22T11:31:02.129-04:00This is awesome.
